OFFICIAL RULES

The Big Brothers Big Sisters 2008 Incredible House Raffle is conducted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County, Inc. (“BBBSDC”), a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

1. The purchase price of a raffle ticket is $50 per ticket. Payments are not tax-deductible contributions. If an entrant’s payment is dishonored by the bank, the entry will be declared invalid.
2. Completed registration forms may be delivered to and must be in the possession of BBBSDC by 5 p.m., August 2, 2008, or before 8,500 tickets are sold, whichever occurs first, in order to be eligible for the 2008 Incredible House Raffle. Purchasers of raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older and must qualify under Wisconsin law.
3. First prize shall be a new Veridian home valued at $215,000 or $120,000 in cash. Second prize shall be $2,000 in cash; third prize shall be $1,000; fourth through sixth prize shall be $250; seventh through tenth prize shall be $150 each; 11th through 20th prize shall be $100 each; 21st through 150th prize shall be $75 each. The prize home is located at 214 Shady Leaf Road in The Meadowlands neighborhood in Madison, Wisconsin.
4. Names of the winners will be posted at the BBBSDC office and on its website at www.bbbsmadison.org. A copy of the list may be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to BBBSDC, 2059 Atwood Avenue, Madison, WI 53704.
5. In the event 8,500 tickets are sold, each ticket has an approximately 1-in-57 chance of winning a prize in the Raffle and a 1-in-8,500 chance to win the first prize.
6. Winners will be determined by random drawings. The drawing will be August 3, 2008, at noon at Veridian Homes, 6801 South Towne Drive. Winners will be notified within seven days.
7. The winner of the Incredible House Raffle must make an election in writing between the house or the cash prize before 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2008. An Assignment of the Purchase Agreement transferring the rights of BBBSDC to the winner of the Incredible House Raffle must be completed by 4:00 p.m. August 22, 2008.
8. Winners will assume and be responsible for all local, state and federal taxes, including without limitation all applicable sales, use, luxury, income, property and special taxes. All terms, conditions, and warranties relating to the home are governed by a Purchase Agreement between Veridian Homes, LLC and the winner.
9. 9. If 6,000 tickets are not sold by August 1, 2008, BBBSDC reserves the right to modify the Raffle and withdraw the first prize, award prizes 2 through 150 and split the remaining net profits (income less expenses) equally between BBBSDC and the first prize winner. All proceeds, less prizes and expenses, will benefit BBBSDC.
10. If at least 1,500 tickets are not sold, BBBSDC, at its option, may cancel the Raffle any time before the drawing and, in such event, BBBSDC shall return to each participant the full purchase price of the ticket.
11. More than one name may be stated on the registration form; however, the first listed name shall be deemed the “entrant.” The Social Security number of the entrant must be provided to claim a prize. It is the sole responsibility of the participants in the group entry to allocate the prize.
12. The decision of BBBSDC shall be final on all matters concerning the Raffle.
13. Board members and employees of BBBSDC or employees of Veridian Homes, LLC, or any of its affiliates are ineligible.
